The Ministry of Marriages CAFE (Casados Felices) began a nationwide emphasis in Venezuela called Returning to the Family Altar that emphasized the importance of families coming together to share the word of God and prayer in their homes. The emphasis began in March, stressing 60 days of family prayer.

On 30 April, the Vida Nueva Church of the Nazarene in Machiques celebrated the end of the emphasis by organizing a meal where the 140 adults and children could share the blessings God bestowed upon them through family altar time.

Several family members testified that God had performed miracles of provision, healing, restoration of marriages, family unity, and new salvations.

Marilin Pérez shared that her family was going through many challenges, including potentially losing her marriage. But upon coming to Christ with her husband and daughter through the family altar, their marriage was restored, and she had no words to explain her happiness.

Rosana Mercado shared that she was going through a difficult time financially, but after praying at the family altar, God gave them the provision they needed.

"I can see once again how the Lord supports our prayers when we have faith in Him," Mercado said.

Keudy Rujano and Lunnary de Rujano, leaders of the CAFE Ministry at the national and district levels, respectfully stressed the importance of continuing to come to the altar as a family in the weeks, months, and years to come.

"Family altar time must be maintained," Keudy said. "It is a daily routine for our life of holiness, and our goal is that each family of the Church of the Nazarene in Venezuela establish a family altar in their home."
