The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 1-5 July 2019.

Dale Ames, 84, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away 30 June. He was a retired minister, serving in Pennsylvania, New York, and Maine. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Ames.

Mary Burk, 94, of Laurel, Montana, passed away 20 June. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Harry Burk, who served in Wyoming and Oregon. Harry Burk passed away in 1993.

Violet (Jahn) Freeborn, 83, Pomona, California, passed away 21 June. She was the wife of retired educator and minister E. Dee Freeborn, who served in Texas, Idaho, California, and Kansas.

Ralph Huit, 75, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away 20 June. He was a retired minister, serving in Oklahoma and Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Huit.

Earle Landers, 90, of Lakeville, Massachusetts, passed away 28 June. He was a retired minister, serving in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Landers. 

M. Gwendolyn (Stinnette) Streight, 90, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 26 June. She was a retired missionary, serving in Nicaragua and Colombia. She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne Streight, who passed away in December. She was preceded in death by her first husband, missionary Dean Galloway, who served in Nicaragua and Colombia. Dean Galloway passed away in 1977. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Raymond McClung, who passed away in 1996.

Jim Stewart, 82, of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed away 30 June. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Mary Stewart.

Kenneth Wheeler, 47, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, passed away 29 June. He was a retired minister, serving in Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, and Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Wheeler.

Lois Zachary, 77, of Bend, Oregon, passed away 13 June. She was the wife of retired minister Lane Zachary, who served in Kansas, California, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, and Oregon.
