Haiti revival attracts thousands
The Haiti Southeast District hosted its 50th annual Revival and Evangelism Campaign 28 July to 4 August for nearly 4,000 attendees. The weeklong event features times of nightly worship and preaching, and bands marched through the community to highlight their presence.
Each year, the district churches join Blek Church of the Nazarene as well as representatives from other denominations in hosting the revival. Senators and other local leaders are invited as the churches strengthen their presence in the community, bring the Word of God, and encourage the churches to continue fulfilling the Great Commission.
Several children were dedicated to God, couples got married, and nearly 60 new Christians are ready for follow-up discipleship through local churches.
“We hope that every year there will be more people who know Christ through this effort,” said Jean Noel Lafleur, Haiti Southeast district superintendent.
