Solomon Ndlovu, strategy coordinator for the Africa South Field, announced Rickson Nkhata was elected superintendent of the Eswatini Central District on the second ballot.

Nkhata holds a doctorate of ministry from Africa Nazarene University, and he currently pastors the Living Waters Church of the Nazarene in Manzini, Eswatini, where he has served for the past 12 years.

Born in Zambia, he is the first-born child to Richard and Essad Nkhata. Rickson and his wife, Sophie, have been married for 35 years and have four children.

Rickson is passionate about education and discipleship, and his motivation is to equip individuals for ministry.
