Myanmar recovery efforts underway after deadly earthquake

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday, 28 March. The disaster has claimed an estimated 3,085 lives in Myanmar, with thousands more injured. The tremors were felt as far as Thailand, where at least 18 people lost their lives.

The Korea District held its 70th District Assembly 11 March 2025 at the Anseong Sarang Church Retreat Center. The assembly elected Choi Hyoung-Young (Seongnam Church) as the new district superintendent.
