General Secretary Gary Hartke and Nazarene Research Services released the annual Church of the Nazarene statistical reports for 2021. These detailed reports documenting the missional activities of the denomination on a global scale show growth for the Church of the Nazarene over the statistical year, as well as continued growth over the past decade.

Global reports show total current membership for the Church of the Nazarene at 2,666,845, a net increase of 26,629 (1.01%) from 2020.

The denomination welcomed in 109,908 new Nazarenes this year and saw a total of 91,133 new professions of faith.

The fastest-growing regions in membership were Africa (7.66 percent), and Asia-Pacific (6.64 percent). Organized churches came in at 23,803, a gain of 295 in that category.

The Church of the Nazarene has 18,817 ordained elders, 773 ordained deacons, and 10,869 licensed ministers.

Because the COVID-19 pandemic prevented or limited many local churches worldwide from meeting for worship and discipleship throughout the 2021 assembly year, the 2021 Annual Church Statistical Report does not show attendance figures.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
